Right, so the laptop and the home network are using the same IP range. If you're gonna run both at once, make sure the they are on different subnets (192.168.1.x and 192.168.2.x for example).
What will be happening is that FPP is probably sending the data to the Falcon - but out the wifi interface, rather than out the Ethernet interface.
And so it's never received.

As i matter of interest what does the warning message mean now in FPP?

As i matter of interest what does the warning message mean now in FPP?
That's caused due to the FPP instance being listed in the E1.31/DDP output list.
Go there and untick the box next to it, save, restart FPPD.

Ok so you can turn off the top one, that's not needed, that will just mean FPP is outputting to itself.

No, you need the top box ticked so that it sends data to the falcon. (row two in the table)
But you need to untick the first row - next to FPP, so it doesnt send data to itself.
