My brain must be getting a little clearer as it just dawned on me that it would be quite simple to do a 18ch strobe controller.

Over for comment on the need for one.

If it has a LED and blinks, flashes or just stays on, then we need it.....

I think that all great minds think alike (or copy each other with enough time)

A former member did/was going to do this, sounds like an easy good idea...

Phil, can you expand on what the proposed controller would do?

    DA,

Basically i'm just going to take the drive circuitry for the 18ch DC controller with mosfets (2803 based) and drop the mosfets from the board, the invertors will provide the 5V DC needed to trigger the strobes.

The strobes just get wired up in trigger configuration then

OK, so this is to control the ACL strobes. Gotcha.
