Dig Octa (fault ?)

wondering if someone can point me in the right direction here
i noticed one prob not working which happens to be the only prob on this port
on checking the controller i noticed a red light beside the fuse (not a problem ill change the fuse as it must be blown)
But still know luck.
Red light still on and know working prob
thinking there maybe a short in the prob or wiring to that prob i plugged in a known working string of lights which return the same red light on the fuse and know working lights
best i can see atm know fuses were ever blown
which makes me start to wounder if there's a fault with the powerboard

If the red light keeps coming on, and you keep blowing fuses, check that the fuse isn't under-rated for the load, or check there are no shorts on that output.

i used the same rated fuses and to be fair non appear to be blown even tho i did change the fuse for a second time when using a know working string of lights just to be sure but got back the same result

Test the fuse with a multimeter on ohms or beeper setting, that will tell you for sure if it is good or not if you are unable to see any breaks in the fuse link internally.

Thanks ... checking this morning with a multimeter revealed the eyesight isnt what it once was lol
now to see why a cable after two weeks of working fine developed a short
