displaying pixel by pixel

is there a way to display pixel by pixel on a prop in xlights ?

i want to view whioch light the prop displays when that pixel is activated

im hoping to view from xlights which pixel on a prop goes where based on the wiring diagram

i was hoping to light up each pixel 1-139
each or contuniously 1,2,3,4,5 etc

so i can view on the xlights preview what light is displaying so i can better interpret the wiring diagram

Single Strand effect with a Render style of Single line should probably do what you're after.

how do i make it go - pixel 1 then add 2 then 3 ?

doesn't a chase just do that for you? or is there something I'm missing?

On the xlights layout tab on the model data there is the ability to "output to lights" from there. I haven't got any controllers or props hooked up currently but I suspect that it will highlight the selected pixel. Hopefully that helps.

Use test mode in xLights. You can set it node by node on the model, so click through them until you find your issue. Can either be 1 then 2 then 3, or 1 and 2 and 3 etc.
