HI All,

I have been searching, but cannot find the pin-out for some dumb pixels I ordered in January. This was the link I used http://www.aliexpress.com/store/product/12mm-diameter-Through-hole-LED-channel-letter-DC5V-input-RGB-waterproof-0-3W-120degree-beam-angle/701799_314089657.html

They look like the ones on the Wiki
http://auschristmaslighting.com/wiki/Pixel_Wire_Colours#WS2801, but my color order is red, yellow, green, blue. I assume red is +5v, yellow is 0v, but not sure about the last two. Anyone know?

Thanks,
Rob

Sure the picture is big enough? lol

Anyway, the colours should be:
  • Red: red channel -ve
  • Green: green channel -ve
  • Blue: blue channel -ve
  • Yellow: common +ve

No, "dumb" pixels are the type where you can only control the colour of the whole string. They are used with DC controllers.

If you want individual control over each pixel, you need to order intelligent strings (2801,2811,etc) and use them with a pixel controller such as the ECG-P12x.
