enttec dmx usb pro

hi All
any help here would be appreciated.

i have just purchased one of these. http://www.enttec.com/index.php?main_menu=Products&pn=70304&show=datasheets

only problem i have just noticed is this is 5 pin and my 24 channel decoders are 3 pin, are there any converter cables available or will this cause me problems ???

Yes there are 5-pin to 3-pin adapters. I had one included for free with my enttec dmx usb pro that I purchased through a dmx lighting hire/sales business. Did you order it online or at a store? If at a store you could pop back and they may also give you an adapter for no additional cost.

I have both ready made adapters like these

and home made cables approx 50 cm to 100cm long.
I prefer the cables as the force on the connectors by the time you add the adapter and the lead in cable is pretty high.

although a little pricey I like these XLR to RJ45 adapters and I have use them on all my 3 and 5 pin dmx fixtures to send the dmx out from my dr4's http://shop.litegear.com/products/dmxlrj45
