HI All, I have a Falcon board setup question.
This is my first year using a Falcon board (last year J1Sys and DC boards)
I'm confused on how to setup the E1.31 & String ports pages on the interface.
I would like to run the following:
Output 1 - 40 pixels (120 channels) on Universe 6 - Spinner A 12v WS2811 Strip
Output 2 - 40 pixels (120 channels) on Universe 6 - Spinner B 12v WS2811 Strip
Output 3 - 50 pixels (150 channels) on Universe 7 - Mini Tree A 12v WS2811 Strip
Output 4 - 50 pixels (150 channels) on Universe 7 - Mini Tree B 12v WS2811 Strip
Output 5 - 50 pixels (150 channels) on Universe 7 - Mini Tree C 12v WS2811 Strip
Output 6 - 50 pixels (150 channels) on Universe 7-8 - Mini Tree D 12v WS2811 Strip
Output 7 - 50 pixels (150 channels) on Universe 8 - Mini Tree E 12v WS2811 Strip
Output 8 - 67 pixels (201 channels) on Universe 83 - Singing face A 12v WS2811 Modules
Output 8 - 67 pixels (201 channels) on Universe 83 - Singing face B 12v WS2811 Modules
Output 9 - 10 pixels (30 channels) on Universe 9 - Kmart Star A 5v WS2811 Nodes
Output 9 - 10 pixels (30 channels) on Universe 9 - Kmart Star B 5v WS2811 Nodes
Output 9 - 10 pixels (30 channels) on Universe 9 - Kmart Star C 5v WS2811 Nodes
Output 9 - 10 pixels (30 channels) on Universe 9 - Kmart Star D 5v WS2811 Nodes

If the above is possible, how do I set this up on the controller? The E1.31 page is confusing me as there are 64 lines to adjust, where as the String page is only 16 (1 per output)

From memory the e131 page is to set the number of universes. So you set total number up the top, which will give the lines to adjust. then you set each line to what universe and the channel count. If you use the 4 dmx optputs then set those to universe of choice and the channel output to 512. Then the rest set to 510 for pixels.
Then go into the string port and set them.
Where you have say the 4 stars on output 9, I would set output 9 to universe 9, pixel count 30 string ws2811. Then I would hit the + button on output 9 and it will duplicate it, then do it twice more. That gives you virtual strings and even if you used different string sets, you can just modify it in each virtual string.
There are a couple of videos on the falcon site that helped me out when I first set it up.

Thanks Scamper.
I missed the top box to reduce this down. Had a bit of a play around and looks like I have it set now, even got my first custom models of the eyes in my singing face testing correctly in xlights, so I must have done something right!
Thanks again :)

No worries, glad I could help.
I was looking at getting a few songs together for you to mix for me, so I won't feel so bad now if i do ::)

One thing you might want to consider doing as you are working with a F16 and xLights is basically forget about universes. They don't matter a hill of beans in this situation.

Set the F16 up based on channel number. Set the channel number to start in xlights. You are done. Its really much easier. To either, whether a prop starts in the middle of a universe and spans to the next does not affect anything really.

Also, in the e1.31 tab of the F16, yes you can set the universe count to anything you desire. But also note that they can be ANY universes. Any order. Even skips. I set mine to 32 universes. And I changed the last 4 universes to be 61,62, 63 and 64. Those are the DMX outputs 1, 2, 3 and 4 respectively.

Yes, thanks, I should have been more specific on that, but I do that also.
I have 2 f16's and one uses universe's from 100 on and the other from 200 on. It is just my way of easily recognising which controller is doing what and set the outputs in vixen appropriately.
