My parents recently bought me at an auction some fake snow packets for $5. What I didn't realize was it was a few hundred packets for $5.

What I'm thinking now is to make an air cannon, similar to a confetti cannon, out of some plumbing fittings. Has anyone had any experience with this.

As far as a trigger I could go for just manually turning the valve. Actuated valve so the kiddies could press the button or possibly a DMX controlled actuator so the snow shoots in a particular part of the song.

I may or may not have had some experience with potatoes.

I have seen some confetti shooters online using 1" pipe but I want to go bigger. Cause bigger is always better. Maybe with multiple outlets

Compressed air and plastic fittings are not always a good mix.

Better than hairspray and a BBQ lighter.

Just watched some youtube video and 70psi seems ok for PVC. Lots of people seem to be working with that. I don't like there triggers though. Hitting the ball valve with a piece of timber.
