Festoon Lighting

Hi guys,

Looking at getting my sparkly mate to rig up some festoon light for underneath my pergola.

Bunnings have the DETA Festoon Lampholder B22 fitting with fangs for connection to a 2 core 1.5mm TPS electrical cable.

We have tried piercing the fangs into a white 2 core 1.5mm TPS electrical cable ( White & Red core ) and the fangs do not
pierce the 2 core cable very well.

Does anyone knows where to buy black 2 core 1.5mm TPS 240v electrical cable? Guessing the skin of the cable would have to be suitable for
piercing. Or maybe does anyone know where I can get these cables made up? B22 holder need to have the holes for ceiling mount.

I've found that the DETA brand electrical fittings are not all that good and seem to have issues in some respect or another.

Most licenced sparkies run a mile when you tell them you've got Deta branded stuff, as they won't touch it.

YMMV though.
