Hey guys,

I have been trying to introduce small elements each each year and this yeah I have given the mega tree a crack. It's 2.5m tall to the topper and 1.25m wide at the base. 16 strings at 50 pixels each spaced 2". I think it came out really well.

I CNC'd the topper from some marine ply and and 3d printed the base attachment for the PVC to slot into the side of the center pole.

Will design a star to place on top yet and print an adaptor for it also.

Now just have to set it up in xlights.

How did you go? Im looking to make a similar sized one. Do you have anymore photos? Did you use PVC pipe for the centre pole and base? What specs/dims for the pipe did you use?
