Missed some posts in my thread so some late replies!

This is great! I'm finally looking at replacing the strip I've been using for my roof outline since I started (my last bit of strip and I'm sick of it! haha) and was looking at seed pixels. Did you notice any issues with heat off the roof and the seeds? (My roof is tiles and gets quite hot)

As far as light, do they only light up from one way? Asking so I can work out a good way to mount to stop the cables turning in the wind.

Any other tips for using seeds on the roof that you found?

Great setup, this is going to be my first year.
I'm also looking at seed pixels from ray wu.
How did you mount them to your roof line?
How many did you use per string?
Did you power Inject any?

Seeds on the roof have some how survived a full year up there
Metal roof does get super hot but no issues so far
Yes they take data from one end only
I hot glued them up - dodgy but was a quick last minute thing last year
As the glue fails im going to replace it with magnetic zip tie mounts

I have found about 400 seeds at 30-50% brightness is the limits of no power injection
whites start getting pink towards the end of the string.
I have now power balanced my 2 window matrix and my mega tree sections (eg powered at both ends)

@joshk how did you find the Baldrick8 as a newbie for your first controller?

Baldrick8 has been great, now have 3 of them for this years show each paired with a meanwell 350w 12v PSU
Like the simplicity and i have them spaced left, middle and right with network cables run back to my office.

Managed to get my lights lit up for 1st Dec some how - was doing the final touches last night at 7:20 for a 7:30 show start!

Will do a more indepth post but now have:
3 Baldrick8 Controllers
just under 8000 Pixels
P5 panel display 6x8 panels 384x256 pixels ~1900x1200mm
New props: Flakes, Canes, Pixel Field, 3m Mega tree, Vertical/Horiz outlines, 10w floods.
Mix of evo and seed pixels from raywu

Just waiting on my XLS450 flake to turn up from @Christmas Props Aus.
(ordered bit late but thought i might have had it just on time but hopefully this week)
