General 3d printer tips and tricks

8) you are right no the money auto bevel lever in the tool room all tables are out of marble I think that way to go

A mate has just got himself a 3d printer (An ExYZ100 which is a clone of a DaVinci) and while I was having a look at it I noticed a big UHU glue stick sitting on it. I asked why it was there and was told that he uses that on the bed for the ABS to adhere to. It does seem to work as he's about 6 or 7 prints in on his first application of the glue. All of them worked including his very 1st print.
While googling I found http://www.justprint3d.com/uhu-vs-generic-glue-stick-getting-pla-to-stick-to-the-print-bed/ which seems to have pretty reasonable info on the process. I should imagine that it's a lot cheaper than tape or build tack and if you run out you just slip up to the newsagency for some more.

I even found a youtube vid with a painful soundtrack to demonstrate that it works.
