Full time elf
Hi All
I am using 5 x RPM DMX4SSr(240vac), 1 x RPM DMX16SSr (240vac), 4 x RPM DMX16DCSSR (24vdc), and 2 x DMX3 DCSSR from Wjohn and a E681.
After testing all my controller in the work shop before the full setup, and all worked fine with no problems. Tested for 2-3 days.
So after seting up,I was having problems when I turned on my 240volt controllers. If I switch off then the misfiring will stop. I can not fine the exact controller that is upsetting the dmx signal, or may be a connection somewhere.
I checked all my cat 5 cables and even moved far away from power cables, but still had the misfire and freezing of controllers. So I ordered a 4 way DMX splitter from AVD. (APC736).
I now using the splitter and the misfiring and freezing now has gone. Now working for over 2 hours.
I'm so happy now, A good product from AVD and a great service, Thanks David.
Hope this info will help others.
Colin
