Again Hello everyone,

I am brand new to all of this and excited to learn about LED control so that I can eventually build a Christmas scene for our home. Any advice you can share with a newbee will be greatly appreciated.

My very first thing to find out is what is the best controller to use. I would like the one that is controlled via WiFi? Any suggestions?

A great place to start is the ACL101 Manual https://auschristmaslighting.com/threads/auschristmaslighting-101-manual.1889/ I will let someone else chime in regarding wireless controllers. All I use are Falcon controllers. Most popular controllers seem to the Falcons from pixelcontroller.com and the Kulp boards from kulplights.com. Best of luck with the display

The chat room is always a nice place to ask questions.

Years back I used ESP32's and ESP8236 with WLED for rgb pixels and arduino with sain smart for regular ac lights. Folks now days are using Digi Uno that with the newer and expensive Wi-Fi equipment seems to works OK but i moved out wireless and now use Falcon F48 controller, Kulp boards are quite popular too.
