Just joined this amazing forum from the United Kingdom, new to this hobby and will be attempting my first display this Christmas. I have an electrics/electronics background and work in the fire alarm industry. I have always put a good few lights up at Christmas but after stumbling across a Tom Betgeorge display on Youtube decided I wanted to take my "ordinary" display to the next level. Hopefully I will be able to get the help I need from all you guys & gals...

Welcome, with an electrics/electronics background you'll be a step ahead of me understanding the wiring part! Great to see people in the UK doing this stuff. I don't remember see any lights when I lived there apart from indoors and on the christmas tree.
