i am looking at getting a projector for this year and hoping to tap into others experience. Is 200 lumens enough to overcome light pollution from display and one street light from across the road? As with everything with this I understand it is situational but personal experience is appreciated.

200 Lumens is not very bright at all.
For comparison, my home theatre projector is 1600 Lumens and only usable in a darkened room.

keep an eye out at the local auction place near you.. i got some sony laser projectors for $100 each, there 4000 lumens
