I have a K150 pic programmer that I used with micropro software for programming my renards.
Does anyone use a K150 and have you got it working with the MPLAB software?
I would like to flash my AVD 25 pixel driver with the 50 pixel software but the micropro software does not support the 16F1934.

Maybe it is time to update my programmer.

Yes I have a K150 , I use to flash my 16f688 pics. MPLAB won't flash to the K150. Micropro won't flash the 16f1934 either.
I just had to purchase a pickit3 to flash ICSP as the k150 didn't support that either.
The k150 has been a great pic programmer but as things keep changing in the world of blinky flashy ,
the pickit3 seems a must have now.

Thanks to both of you.
Brett you have confirmed my suspicions.
Thanks for the offer Matt, I might buy myself a pickit3 for my birthday but if I don't I will come knocking :)

A PicKit3 is the way to go for any PIC chip programming. The cost of it is still very small compared to the rest of your display gear.
