Hello everyone,
I decided after seeing everyone's lights this year to try to get my house lights working again. I have a kulp k16a-b v1.0.0 and upgraded the board and fpp to the latest versions. The lights are 12v 2811's. Around a couple of years ago this was all working, just haven't had time to mess with it so decided to try to start early
So, currently only have connections in Port1 and Port2. Port1 has about a 15ft distance before the first pixel and has around 310 pixels connected. When I run the test in fpp, all of the lights on Port1 are working. BUT, on Port2(which has about 40ft before the first led) and around 100 pixels on it, only lights the first pixel in a light blue. I thought it might be the data signal, so I bought some F-amp's to see if that would help. I connected it right out of the controller since the mid point is behind my vinyl siding. It did seem to improve? now I have a bright blue pixel that seems to be a little more than half way down the pixles, at around pixel 60 maybe? Would this mean the pixel is bad at that point, still not enough power? Trying to figure out the best way to fix/test this without having to pull everything down
