Laser and E1.31??

Hi all, I was thinking the other day it would be nice to add a few lasers to run in between my christmas lights show. Just flashing on the grass and gardens (with or without music).
I thought maybe I would have a 10min break in between the shows rather than running the show over and over again and I could have a few small lasers running around.
Does anyone have any ideas how I could do this?
Is there a way to do this through LSP or the scheduler?
I saw Ray had a few that would do the trick and Im sure someones dont something similar before.

I will add that Im running E1.31 with LSP, and a mixture of ECG's, DC48's and Ray 27's.
If that helps anyone advise me on what I can and cant do with Lasers?

You can buy DMX controlled lasers. They could be run from the DMX output of a DR4, D4, D2, etc.

Hi David, thats great. I have a D4 running my DMX controllers in my display.
So do I get a Laser that has built in DMX controller or one without? I dont know a heap about these things.
Could you suggest a laser that would fit?

Any laser that says that it is DMX controllable should work. There are probably big differences in the feature sets (what the laser can do) of course.

Great, I suppose them I could assign the laser a controller through LSP and run it within my show?

Some lasers use various channels to select patterns, etc so that should be straightforward enough.

You should also be able to use the x/y mapping feature on LSP if the laser you have has that ability
