I’m using the SCULPFUN S9, and it handles 5mm Coro pretty well for my Christmas light props.
If you’re looking at getting a laser, I’d definitely aim for something with a 9W module or higher.
A CNC router is still the better choice for cutting Coro, but the laser has been super useful. I’ve also used the laser to burn designs into wood boards and ended up making a bunch of Christmas gifts over the years.
As you can see, it does take a bit of extra effort to cut out the prop cleanly and deal with all the holes.
