    I was having a look at the stellascapes website yesterday and I found this. Has a few close up pics of Lerch. He looks even more impressive close up. I can't see some of the pics in the earlier posts for some reason.

    Tuppet would have been the coolest kid in school if he was young enough to take something like that in for show and tell. And that's without even turning the lights on.

    Now That's an Actuator

    Opened up my nice box of new actuators from China today.

    Sizes 400 mm, 500 mm and 600 mm stroke.

    24V DC with with 8 Kg load capacity 250 mm/sec speed.

    This is the smallest one!

    Tested the time to extend or retract --- 1.3 seconds (ooh it's good)

    Now that will make my spider jump :cool:
