Would certainly prefer not wearing masks. But I’d prefer having the event with a mask on than not having it. And I’m somewhat hopefully the rules will be relaxed by then.
 
Just a quick bump to the thread for any Melbournians that haven't seen this yet, happening THIS WEEKEND!

Don't expect it to be a fully slick presentation styled event, I think it will be somewhat informal discussions with perhaps a presentation here and there.
If you have questions or props with issues you'd like help with, bring them all along.
 
Sorry I can't make it, first properly busy weekend since the pandemic started, 4 gigs on that day. Can't complain getting back to work after so long but a shame I'll miss it, Melb mini is always a great time. Enjoy.

Just double checking with venue but we'll aim for 9am start but should be ok to start arriving around 8.30 if you have some gear you want to bring in to show off etc.
Will call end of the day around 5pm.

Masks are now mandatory for all people indoors (unless medically exempt) If this does not suit you we understand you may no longer wish to attend.

Hoping that no further restrictions are announced and that we can continue as planned for Saturday, but of course any further changes to this will be posted here in due course.
