Moving Effects to Shorter Sequence

Hi Team, We wish to shorten a sequence from last year while I can do that in audacity is there a way to bulk move the required effects to the new shorter sequence? Ive tried running 2 windows and copy pasta but it does not allow? Or simpler is there way to start sequence at particular timestamp. Cheers.

New user here.
Also need to do the exact same thing. I attempted to use Keith's tool, but probably used it incorrectly as the output file is not usable. I also wasn't able to copy/paste between different xlights windows.

I have created the shortened wav file, but any attempt to copy and paste the effects from the original sequence into the new shorter sequence has failed.

BTW - this is for a Tesla Light Show in case the settings for that make a difference.
