My GE Icicles displays sequence upside down

I am using Gilbert Engineering icicles (1,8,1 layout). On xLights, it displays properly. However, when running sequence on the actual prop, the sequence displays upside down. Can someone tell me what I may be doing wrong?

Your icicles need to be hung pointing up?

Look in xlights and see where the start icon is located. It seems to me that it is possible to "draw" icicles upside down.

I tried that!!
Actually, I figured it out. I changed the start location and that fixed it. But now, I discovered that the icicles are not following the pattern as stated in xlights. So instead of going 1,2,9,3,8,4,7,5,6 like the wiring diagram, the sequence is going in numerical order (1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8,9). Do you know how to fix that?

Sounds like you need to turn on Alternate Nodes option

I may have found the problem ... I had an extra comma. I meant to put 1,8,1 but I discovered that I entered 1,,8,1
Not certain yet as I had communication errors between my computer and controller just as I found the error so will test and (hopefully) confirm once I get home from work.
