mangoat was asking in chat what people used the tint tubes for. He dropped out of chat before I got to reply. Among other things I used mine for pixel icicles (27m worth across the front of my house) and also for a 4m high (it's laid down though) mega star on my carport. I showed off the pixel icicles I made with them at the Melbourne and Adelaide minis d there was a fair bit of interest. Each of them contained 1 12V 2811 modules and the bottom was capped with a paper cup which acted as a diffuser and also stopped the large amount of light that would usually have escaped out the bottom.
