Just noticed that there is a new upgrade for LOR that has some DMX upgrades

The adapter supported now is the LOR sold Isolated dongle - USB485-ISO.

Yes, the update is for Showtime Suite 3 (S3).

I grabbed the new update yesterday. Although the updates are infrequent (compared to say new browser updates!), I wonder if a built in update checker is warranted. It would mean you wouldn't need to visit the official LOR website to see if there is indeed a new S3 update.

Might be something I submit to the "wishlist".

Any "update checker" needs to be manual (click a link in about...) or able to be disabled if it were auto checking.

Yep, A "check for updates" link in the help menu is all that is needed.
