Hi everyone,
I’m thrilled to join this awesome community and dive back into the world of Christmas lighting! My family and I had a small display a few years ago, but we took a break for a while. Now we’re ready to get back into it—and wow, things sure have changed over the past five years!
I’m brand new to xLights and pixel lighting. Hubby set up our last display and has some knowledge, but he’s not able to help much this time—so I’m here to learn, get inspired, and soak up all the wisdom from you experts.
My Current Setup:
My next challenge is figuring out how to get all of this talking to each other and installed on a two-story brick and weatherboard house.
Looking forward to learning heaps and sharing progress along the way.
Cheers,
Tribeof7

My Current Setup:
- 16-strand Mega Tree
- 2 x 6-strand Mini Trees
- A mix of 5v and 12v RGB and pixel lights
- Strips, bullets, and a few Raspberry Pis
- A Falcon board
- Conversion boards from Allen Hanson (to run dumb lights)
- And even an old LOR 240v controller tucked away in the shed!
My next challenge is figuring out how to get all of this talking to each other and installed on a two-story brick and weatherboard house.
Looking forward to learning heaps and sharing progress along the way.
Cheers,
