No IP address

Hello I just bought a ready to go Falcon Controller, Hooked it to my PC with an Ethernet adapter but I can not get an IP address on the Controller display. It has a WIFi address? can anyone help me with this?

By default the Falcon is in DHCP networking mode. This is when your router would assign the Falcon an IP address. Your computer does not give a DHCP address when connecting your computer directly to the Falcon.

You can:
Set a static IP address on the Falcon.
Set a static IP address on the computer.

E.g. Falcon: 192.198.1.50 Computer: 192.168.1.60. Subnet mask: 255.255.255.000. Gateway on both: 192.168.1.1.
I suggest searching online how to set your computer to a static IP address. Be aware this may cause issues for it to work on your home internet.
The Falcon can have a static IP address set with the buttons/screen.
