IMPORTANT UPDATE - PLEASE READ AND RESPOND.
Entry to Lavarack Barracks. Follow the map provided earlier. Drive up to the boom gate, do not park and do not get out of your car.
At the boom gate, you will be greeted by a Security Guard. Tell them you are here for the Christmas Lights Expo. Show them your Photo ID and produce your NBI evidence if requested. No Pass will be issued.
Drive through the gate 20 metres and turn left and turn left again into the car park.
Follow the map again to where the arrow points you will see a small outdoor area.
Bazinga. You have located the Townsville 2022 Mini.
Thank you and I look forward to meeting you all.
Thanks for clarifying these details Peter. Can everyone please respond so we know you have read the message? Cheers all

Our mini was held on Saturday and went off without a hitch. I wanted to say thanks to everyone who attended. We had Christmas enthusiasts that travelled from near and afar to come along. It was great to meet you all.

I hope the newbies all went away with a wealth of knowledge and eagerness to get started on your displays. I look forward to seeing them all at Christmas time and please call me if you need a hand. I am more than happy to help. To all the oldies - I hope you all went home with fresh motivation to dive into your 2022 Christmas plans and perhaps learnt something new, too.

I would like to say a special thank you to Peter ( @ComPeter ) who organised the venue and helped with planning and presenting on the day. Without your help and enthusiasm, the mini would not have run so smoothly.

Thanks to our other presenter, Neil, who put his hand up to do a presentation then handballed it to Kim. You nailed your first mini presentation Kim, it was awesome.

We had some generous prizes donated from ACL members @kymm4 and @MR_kymm4 @ComPeter and myself that all were greatly received by attendees.

A massive thank you to the following vendors and businesses who also generously donated amazing prizes who we'd like to acknowledge below in no particular order.

@Zuseleets We need to ask how we get added to the Regional List.

To the newby's that attended the mini, if you are looking for bits and pieces, I have a bit not being used at the moment, have a new F16 V4 board you could borrow if you are waiting for one to arrive, PSU's, x connect pigtails etc, send a message if needed
