Hi, it appears the null pixel is next inline after the 4 module set and you got 33m with out a problem,
how far could you reach if A. null was placed in middle of run? -any benefit
B. you placed two nulls in a run would that extend distance further?
Cheers Boof63

You could probably move the null up to about 6m from the 1st modules. I only put it right at the start to show the difference in distance no the absolute distance you could extend.
There's no real limit on the number of nulls that you could put in series,

Am I correct in that each Null-pixel needs to be included in the programming?!?

So, if I had (for arguments sake) 150 pixels, then a Null-pixel then more pixels I would have to code it as 150 pixels,NP, xyz pixels...

Please excuse my poor vocabulary, just trying to get this into my head.

They are totally transparent to data. They are a buffer rather than a null pixel. No need to configure them at all. You can just plug them in wherever you find you're lacking data distance.

There was actually some discussion last night with Ryan about fitting pigtails. I'm waiting on @benbrown to get to work Monday to get me some pricing on some short 0.75mm2 3 core pigtails. Once I know what they cost I'll contemplate selling as a complete ready to go unit. The boards fit neatly inside pixel node thingies so that's what I'd put them in.
