Only last pixel will light up - using WS2801 from ray

The effect configuration should not be blank.

Try setting #01A to active, start at pixel 1 and set the pixel count to 150.

thanks will try that.
Also may have bad advice re- connecting up pixels. was connecting to rear of chip. not into chip
