Pixels in parallel yet still addressable

Hi all, Thanks for all the information. Last night I installed FPP on a PI 4 and can confirm that I can control this tree using xlights through the pi.
I cut of the tree controller and used a 3v to 5v converter on the raspberry pi GPIO pin. Two universes with 300 channels each.

It looks like AliExpress vendors are selling these lights for use on a standard indoor Christmas tree now.
