Pixels not working

Hey guys. My mega tree is now up, run into a few issues with the pixels. I’ve used x connect 100 strand pixels from ray wu, I have 3 strands of pixels that seem to have some type of an issue with.

Looks as if the last 50 pixels in a few of the strands are not working & flashing blue or red.

I am using 75 pixels per strip for the tree, with 300 pixels per controller port.

I am also running power injection at the connection between the 2-3 strands.

Anyone got any idea on what may be causing this and any solution?

Are you sure it’s not a channels issue? Do they light up with test mode on the controller?
 
Did you swap the bad string with the ports or good strings to see what happens? It m ight not be a port dying but could be how the pigtails are connected to the controller, something might have come loose.

My Halloween show started to have weird issues and it turned out to be due to channel problems because my models somehow changed the length and number of strings when I was making sub-model changes and I never noticed. Sometimes it is best to start from the beginning.

What I did for testing was to remove the megatree model from the controller and just put in simple strait strings of the number of pixels for the port to test.
