What DMX Controller do you have? A DMX Dongle, a DMX output from a Falcon F4 or F16, J1Sys D4 or DR4 etc. I dont believe that the PixLite has a DMX out, so you will need some other sort of DMX interface

I will attach pics of the dmx controller, dongle and flood light.
and the error i get when turning on the output in xlights.
we really appreciate the help

It would appear that xlights is saying you have COM1 and COM3 as options for the port.

COM1 is usually on the PC motherboard, so COM3 is likely the USB485RJ-ISO adapter.

Try changing xlights to use COM3 and see how you go.

Have you installed the virtual drivers so the dongle will work as listed in point 3 of the error message?

I can see that spot1 in the 3rd picture is assigned to Univ 9 channels 40 - 42. That universe and channel is part of another model so that needs to be fixed

worked it out , there was a loose wire on the dmx board.
Thank you everyone!
Now to work out how to get them to work within xlights lol
