Hello all,

Found this the other day when I was out and about, it's RGB strip mounted in that clear garden hose. Seemed to fit nicely and guessing it has good uv qualities. Thinking about using this on a spiral tree, anyone used this method before ?

That's exactly what I was wanting to use to make some RGB arches, but I hadn't found the clear hose at a reasonable price.

Bunnings sell that tube, but it was very expensive for a diameter that would fit the strip in.

I did find it online some where early in the year, but don't seem to have the bookmark any more.

Not sure , didn't have any marking on it, will keep my eye out and see if you can buy it in bulk somewhere.

OK, Thanks
What I am really looking for is a tube that will fit over the strip and the conduit that makes the arch. Approx 1.5" ID or 2" OD. Should be able to leave the strip almost free moving and provide a larger diffusion of light.

The reason for such High cost on the hose is that your going for a Pressure option. Look for just normal clear hose. ill do some digging cause thats exactly what i would do with the arces as well.

One of the reasons I was looking at pressure hose is for the frosted effect.

It also looked like it would stand up better (not deform) than the clear one in the Australian summer.

Just called the local supplier , smallest roll I can get seems to be 100m, but he seems to think it only costs $250 ( this is for the 25mm frosted) so I will wait to see if he can confirm it. If so I may have alot left over!
