Small stand alone controller

Hi I am working on a project that requires a controller that can be programed to run a small sequence once trigged by a PIR all by itself
12 V
About 150 pixels in total
Able to set up a sequence to it
Any idea on what controller to use would be helpful

i would say fpp with a input-hat, wire the PIR to a input, an then just assign a sequence to play once triggered.

Could I use a PI PICO or Zero

if you want to go that way. use gemini or claude, tell it what you want to do with the pir detector you want. an let it write the code for ya. fully custom an simple then. could even use a esp32

Its a halloween prop
Monster in a box where if you pass it the PIR will set off the box to shake and I would like to add lights to it that change color at the start and later as it shakes
I have a couple of Baldrick boards for my christmas display and have no problems with these but I want the box to be a stand alone with one supply and nothing else
I have no knowledge on the esp32 of what they can do or how to set them up or even where would be the best place to get one
