Hello Everyone, After much thought and consideration I have decided to step down from ACL as a moderator. I want to take this opportunity to allow some fresh eyes to be a leader for ACL. For the past 8 years, there has been nothing but my appreciation to everyone in this forum and I look forward to keeping in touch with everyone. From joining and being a part of the first original members and watching this site become an awesome place of resources this truly is the best resource on the internet. This will not be the last you see of me and I will be around however due to changes in the upcoming future it is best to pass on the title of moderator. In the following years to come, I will not be able to organise upcoming events on ACL but will assist with the little time I may have.

I will still be hosting build parties at my place and will provide more information on the forums when they arise
 
Thanks for all your efforts over the years Ben. I remember learning so much from you and Dave and others those first few years and I continue to be amazed with the energy and enthusiasm you have brought to the hobby. We all owe so much to those that came before and gave selflessly to the hobby.
 
A big thanks from me as well Ben, from the first interaction I had with you via ACL you have always been a positive and encouraging member and given so much to the community by helping people on chat and zoom etc, organising mini's and build partys etc and of course the banter in Zoom.

As Keith mentioned we all owe you and thanks for all your assistance over the last couple of years etc
 
Thanks for all you've done over your years as a mod Ben. So much has changed since you took up the reins. First there was YagoonaLights, then BensChristmasLights and now there is what we have today :D
 
Thanks for all of your efforts Ben, especially the thankless task of running so many minis. The Australian community is a better place from your efforts.
 
What everyone else said. You've put a lot of your own time and effort in, and done a lot for the Aus Christmas Lighting community; it's been appreciated by all I'm sure.
 
Thanks Ben for your all your help when I first started I think I would have given it all away if it was not for you . Enjoy your new beginnings and hope too talk soon on here as we all know that we Cannot keep away
 
I personally want to thank you mate for guiding me into this crazy world. My show certainly wouldn't be where it is today without your help. Don't be a stranger and obviously we'll talk soon.
 
Echoing everyone else's comments but its the same from me, thank you very much for all you have done for not just the site but the community as a whole.
You are one of the most patient people I know putting up with so many noobs and their questions that have been asked over and over, and its this type of attitude and commitment you've shown that makes this one of the friendliest and welcome corners of the internet.
 
You have a heart of gold Ben. You have helped myself and others tirelessly over the years and for that I will be forever in your debt. Thanks for waiting for me to attend a mini before pulling the plug :D Miss your presence around here. Dont be a stranger!
