How hot is it safe to run pix 4, am trying to sort out matrix at moment , air temp is 36oC but pix 4 showing 44oC, have 120 cm computer fan running in 45 x 35 x 40 cm plastic storage tub, that's painted white to reflect and has lid covered and two sides covered with sheet to stop direct light??

Have you got any external ventilation or just a fan circulating the air in the box?
That heat needs to be able to get out. Even fitting a couple of 1" PVC elbows on each end would be a big help.
 
Fan is bringing air in, and two slots where cabling runs out I thought might do , but yes I think I need to add extra venting should I be running the fan to suck or blow- seriously please.

Mine are set up to blow the hot air out. Not sure if others have set theirs up the same.
