Tried to configure the ECG-P2 but failed

Afternoon all
I do apologise for the long winded post
Sorry to be a pain but I thought I was going well with the ECG-P2 set up.
Connected the 5 meter 2811 10pcs-IC- and 30pcs-5050 RGB strip which I assume means 30 pixles
Typed in the 10.10.10.10. all good, put in password
Went to string configuration and activated the first universe
Selected 2811 pixels on both outputs
Numbered the first universe 1
Start at 1
Number of pixels 30
Left all the other boxes unchecked
Saved and rebooted
After the reboot all the pixels came on, all white
Went to IP Config and enabled e-1.31 and UBL
Ticked test pattern and rebooted
Nothing happened all the pixels stayed on
Where have I gone wrong,
I am using Cat 6 cable connected to my windows 8 laptop

Firstly 5m of 10ic/m is 50 pixels
Have you got a snapshot of your config page

Your speed is set to 0, also you have both outputs set at 1. If you jump into chat as its easier to talk you through

set your speed to 3000

We have blinky, red, green and blue with a white chaser

Was it the speed that was the issue

Im assuming it was the Speed that was causing the issue

The speed is the only thing I changed Oh and the pixel count from 30 to 50
