"Unread Posts" not working properly?

Not sure if anyone else is having the same issues, but the "New Posts" link (action=unread) doesn't seem to be working properly for me? Loaded it up this morning, and it only had 2 posts listed. But load up the Recent Posts link (action=recent), and there are a heap of extra posts since my last visit?

Any ideas?

Did you happen to log into ACL then chat without reading new posts first? There seems to be a link between the order in which you do it and the result of the New Posts action.

Nah, I didn't - not getting a lot of spare time to have chat loaded at work these days, so I didn't load up Chat at all.
