I can tell you that Phil still owns the ACL domain regardless of any rumours, Im actually amazed that this got asked just because of some long overdue updates being done to the forum

ACL will still be hosted by Phil.

The downtime announcement in the news fader was put up by Phil. I merely created a thread in announcements to ensure that the notice is not missed and to further explain why there will be an outage.

The migration will be a team effort between Phil and myself.

You can do the whois search and find the site owner easily.

if you goto www.domainprivacygroup.com (the privacy place) they use a invalid security certificate..
sounds like phil went the cheap way to hide his whois details..lol

The only issue with the certificate is that it is issued to domainprivacygroup.com (rather than www.domainprivacygroup.com) If you go to https://domainprivacygroup.com/ it's all good.

That's just a masking site that allows people to have private registration, but still be able to be contacted - the domainprivacygroup.com just acts as in intermediary.
