Did I hear someone mention group buy of ACL strobes again???

I would buy a fair few that's for sure. They are on the missus wish list, so that part of the budget hasn't been spent yet :)

you still need - Fast Led2 library https://github.com/FastLED/FastLED/archive/archive/FastSPI_LED2.zip
an the Conceptinetics library for the DMX side of things http://sourceforge.net/projects/dmxlibraryforar/
Enjoy
thanks for sharing. I'll test your version of the code!!

I wouldn't have the time to organise one, but if you put your hand up to do the organising, that's the best way to ensure it goes ahead.

If you're keen, speak to FastEddy to find out what would be involved.

Last time, AAH offered to do the SMD soldering for the aussies, and someone in the US offered the same (memory fails me), so that was another part of it - not sure if they'll be up for it again!

Hey Guys, im all for another strobe coop.. but in all fairness its a bit late in the season for anyone to organise a group buy, but maybe if you set the wheels in motishion for early next year(say feb) then something might be able to happen.

I just may test the new strobes Ray has - they are 12v

As for the group buy/coop, I'd love to organize, but being in Canada may make that a big challenge (shipping costs would be crazy, and I think there is a very limited group of us Canucks into lighting).

The 5 volt strobes were also rated at .75 watts but if I am not mistake only hit about 1/2 of that in actual use. If the 12 volt version actually used all .75 watts that would be great. If you get some let us know how they turn out.

ACL strobe buy. I would be willing to be the North America distribution point unless Fathead wants it again.

I've had a bit better success with that code. See the youtube video. Not bad for rgb. Will have to see what the 12v ones look like if I can get ray to respond.

yeah much better. but do you think you could duplicate without the other hardware in a sequencer using just a normal controller?
