ChromaTrim and Conduit behind eaves

After looking at different options and not wanting to drill a million holes, I ordered some ChromaTrim to test. I first mounted it to PVC, but I think that will be too flexible. I then tried 1/2" EMT. That is far more sturdy and hides well under my eaves. I am making a huge assumption that the fascia is the same size on the high eaves and peaks. I don't see that as being an issue though. My next concern was how to create a snap in or easy on/off mechanism that would allow a center support if necessary. I found that the ChromaTrim is easy to score with a razor to get a notch out for a snap in solution.

All I need to do now is come up with an easy snap in for the conduit and the mounting should be simple from there.

Cable tie anchors like these may also do the trick for you. Depends on how permanent you want the fittings to be. I've read that some use the anchors and paint them the same colour as their guttering/eaves and keep them there all year round. Fixing them with screws or silicone should do the trick. Or outdoor adhesive tape may a half decent option to temporarily attach them to smooth surfaces like guttering (most outdoor tape can be rubbed off pretty easily, unless fixed to plaster).

Have you ever had problems with these breaking ? I bought the old kind from Holiday Coro and they worked great I bought about 25 of the clear ones last November and had trouble with them breaking very easy!

there is already an existing off the shelf equivalent of these available in multiple sizes for 20, 25, 32 mm conduit and they are relatively cheap it's what I use
