Hi All
I thought that I would share my first pixel controller setup. Components are
Raspberry Pi running FPP (Pi will have a wireless link to the router then use lan to talk to the controller)
F16v3 pixel controller board
2 x 60A 5V supplies, way over kill for now I know (decided against 12V, for now anyways)
A few 240Vac fuses and 5Vdc fuses
At the moment I am only using 10 of the 16 outputs. Will wire the other 6 up next year as they are fiddly to do.
Please see pictures bellow.

I plan on using it to control a small mega tree with 10 strings. Then next year to increase the size of the mega tree and add a few other items as well.

Let me know your thoughts both good and bad :)

Cheers
Grant

Looks great.
For future expansion remember that each output on a f16 can control 640 pixels. So long as you power inject. that way you can use the controller to run many more props.

Thank you all.
each output on a f16 can control 640 pixels.
I thought that they could have up to 1024 pixels per output? Or is that the max and recommended max is 640?
I plan on using a differential expansion board and receivers to extend to other elements next year.
Either way I think that this board should keep me going for a while at least

This is awesome!

Can i ask how much it was all up to start out? im wanting to do a simple setup initially, i just dont know where to start. I have read the ACL 101 manual, and understand most of it other than the electrical wiring parts....
