Pixad8 Now to next next issue...I set the dip switches to off,off,off,on in order to run the test pattern. Rebooted device and it worked beautifully. Only issue now is I can't get the test pattern to stop unless I force the boot loader to stay active.... When I set all dips to off and reboot...

Solved! What I did. In the ubl, after reloading the hex file onto the pic. I clicked run application. Tried 10.10.10.10 again and whamo! HTML configure page came up!

Are you talking about a sub yo rj485? I have one for running my renards... Guess it wouldn't hurt to try it

Controller is powered and up has been verified through the ubl, Also I have manually set my Ethernet connection to 10.10.10.100 subnet 255.255.255.0

Guess I should add that I am using a stand alone laptop. I have the wireless adapter disabled so it has no acces to the Internet.

I have managed to red lash my "older" pixad8, can connect to it with the UBL no issues. What isn't working is trying to type 10.10.10.10 into my browser. It times out trying to connect. any suggestions?

Yeah I am hitting the connect button just after powering on unit....before the d1 light goes constant. Get same error.

Hmmmmm. I have an older pixad8 combo. I cant ping the board via cmd, and the UBL returns this message: please reset device and invoke bootloader.... i Have SW1 set to XX11 which should have it set to 10.10.10.10....no connectivity....power is on and i have a flashing D0 and a constant D1...

Just so i am following. If i buy a pickit3, it will plug into my PIXAD8 without any additional cables needed?

What part of FL? I am in the panhandle.
