ITS SEPTEMBER ALREADY????
Lets see...
finish soldering xConnect onto the pixels that came with RST plugs
Push 3 more arches and a candy cane
Buy longer xConnect to finish my controller box
Get the new FPP up and running
Figure out if i bother buying a singing tree this year, or make it 12v next...
...Oh.
Thanks!
Do you think the 'Original Baldrick Mount' would work on this? https://www.baldrickboard.com/en/fun-stuff/stls-and-mounts
Or this with the same board footprint? https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:5868398
My cheap butt thought it would be better to get the shorter pigtails, which I just found don't reach to the far ports of the controller.
Its currently laid out down the length of the box, so some ports are closer than others, but I was wondering if there was any way to mount the baldrick ontop...
Hey all.
I have an 'S-200-5' PSU in my Baldrick 8 kit from Hanson Electronics, and I'm looking for better ways to mount the board.
My pigtails don't quite reach the far ports from where it came, so I'm thinking...
How unsafe would it be to chuck a few screws in the holes in the enclosure?
Or...
Okay...
Did some testing, and the results are in:
- Can run approx. 75 pixels at 40% brightness before they start to yellow 😬
- The PSU seems to hold up with a few ports.
So I'm wondering if some of these could work instead? The single row says 50px.
I do like these, might print a few...
Thank you!
We're a little worried about theft or damage, so might not have that many props low.
The floods are a great idea, we were already planning on getting some for the static lights.
And is it possible to run all of this off of the 200w psu I already have?
Im a little worried about...
