Hi, am I able to use the standard 5050 strips, I know I would not get the flexibility but I do have quit a few rolls which I am not using, I was thinking of a 3, 6, 9 drop, how would the wiring work out should just connect all the 3's, 6's & 9's together, that way I would a have little control...

I'd be really interested if you go ahead, most of my so called icicles are starting to rust out, I did have an idea of cutting up the 50/50 strips into 3 6 & 9 lengths, turned out to be a little expensive as I need around around 18 meters, lots of joins needed and I'm not very good at soldering...

I use 24V AC rectified, had no problems for the pass 2 years, pretty sure the rectified increases the DC voltage

It's taken a bit of time but at last I have a sleigh to go with the 9 reindeer, should look pretty good under the spot light

After all this time I found out how to adjust the focus manually Doh, hopefully I'll get better shots after christmas, nxt year will be great, still no sound though

I use the Ray Wu's 4 pin pig tail joiners, write the channel no on the connectio and the light no on the other end in texta, tranpose all that onto a spreadsheet, works really well, I found the dymo labels fell off when I unravellec them this year

Just My 2 cents, I had to throw away over $1,000 net lights 2 years ago due to the wires rusting, as I spread them open from the previous year, all the wires broke, leaving them useless
