Hi, am I able to use the standard 5050 strips, I know I would not get the flexibility but I do have quit a few rolls which I am not using, I was thinking of a 3, 6, 9 drop, how would the wiring work out should just connect all the 3's, 6's & 9's together, that way I would a have little control...
Thanks guys got some good tips, i'll try for the visit. When it gets closer, i'll PM for your address if that's OK.
As for my show, i'm hoping to have it all setup & come on via the computer, if it doesn't people will have to wait till i get home
Cheers
Firstly I'd like to thank all at ACL for the help you have given me over last 5 - 6 years.
I am going to do one of my bucket list this year, which is to be in New York on Thanks Giving, do you have any suggestions on what I should not miss out on while I am there, also is there anyone close by...
I'm still cleaning up from last years, i love it, it's a great reminder of what's to come later in the year when i find another piece of tinsel, not the wife though
I'd be really interested if you go ahead, most of my so called icicles are starting to rust out, I did have an idea of cutting up the 50/50 strips into 3 6 & 9 lengths, turned out to be a little expensive as I need around around 18 meters, lots of joins needed and I'm not very good at soldering...
After all this time I found out how to adjust the focus manually Doh, hopefully I'll get better shots after christmas, nxt year will be great, still no sound though
I use the Ray Wu's 4 pin pig tail joiners, write the channel no on the connectio and the light no on the other end in texta, tranpose all that onto a spreadsheet, works really well, I found the dymo labels fell off when I unravellec them this year
I'm trying to contact Fathead45, I still have not received the C9 covers i paid for last year and I need them for the display this year, he has said he would send them some time back but he hasn't and he is not answering his PM's or emails
Just My 2 cents, I had to throw away over $1,000 net lights 2 years ago due to the wires rusting, as I spread them open from the previous year, all the wires broke, leaving them useless
Hi Terry
The attached pic's is how I set up my show, I have one Bridge rectifier for each 4 channel SSR, one 24V Toroidal feeds all the Bridge rectifiers (not sure how many this can run but seems to handle 48 SSR's), I don't know how many channels the rectifier can handle (some one else might...
Hey
Took some photo's there are four items to complete the Rectifier
2 - two pin PCB connectors
1 - 6 pin IC Socket
1 - Rectifier
1 - bread board cut to 20 hole x 4 holes
Solder the 2 two pin connectors to either end of the bread board
Place the 6 pin IC socket half way down the bread board...
