Anyone interested in upsizing their megatree, here is an opportunity.

A few years ago I made my first mega tree with a timber frame about 3m high with 16 x 50 pixels. It was a basic start to prove I could do it.
Last year I re used it but added a 270 pixel star.
This year I am going for a full rebuild and upsize.
I got myself a 6.5m pole, topper, winch etc. and...
The star has 3 inner rings at 20, 30 and 40 all on one string the next 2 are 50 and 60 on one string and the outer ring is 70 on one string.
According to the manual in multicast mode it can do 7 universes or 3570 channels or unicast mode 12 universes or 6120 channels.
I hope that makes sense.
Last year I started out with a simple mega tree of 16 strings by 50 pixels, each string plugged into one pigtail on the E682.
This year I want to add a 6 row star. I watched the video on how to set it up and got it going, however it seems to waste a lot of the outputs.
That is one pigtail out of...
I have been following this

The sixth step is what I am looking at but for the e682
I can access the pi both wirelessly and with Ethernet. I can access the e682 via Ethernet from laptop directly or router. I want to run the e682 from the Pi. I can set the ip on the e682 but my understanding was that for it to talk back it needs a gateway for the subnet on the pi as well.
I am...
hi all, I trying to setup my e682 with a connection to a rPi4. I have set the ip's on the Pi and added a subnet etc but I am having a problem setting the gateway on the e682. Has anyone have any instruction on how set/change the gateway on the e682. Thanks
I am looking at getting the Sandevices diy kit.
it seems to be pretty straight forward in assembly and operation.
Has anyone had any recent experience or issues with it.
Thanks
I couldn't wait until tomorrow. You are correct, the plugs are on the wrong ends.
They are now all working.
I guess that is why Ray had them on sale.
Thanks all.
I think you might have something there. From what I can see the arrow pointing to the controller not away.
I shall cut the lead a swap ends.
Will let you know tomorrow.
