Adelaide/SA Adelaide 2017 mini 17th-18th June

We are pleased to announce that the Adelaide mini in 2017 will be held on the weekend of 17th & 18th of June.

Location: Cabra Dominican College, 225 Cross Rd Cumberland Park. Parking is off Little Street
Time: 9:30am-5pm Saturday, 9:30am-4pm Sunday

Organisers: CrazyCatLady, darylc, heathwithnoteeth, ryanschristmaslights
Cost: $15 per head to cover food & drink. Lunch, snacks and drinks provided both days
Dinner: Optional - 7pm Elephant & Castle, West Tce, Adelaide

There's definitely been some interest from some interstaters coming down to the Adelaide Mini this year. A few people in chat have mentioned they could be flying, and I see Jetstar currently have a sale all of this week and the travel period includes the Adelaide Mini weekend.

For example, flying into Adelaide on Friday and out on Monday with hand luggage only (7kg):
$55 one-way from Melbourne (Tullamarine), $55 back to Melbourne.
$69 one-way from Sydney, $69 back to Sydney
$85 one-way from Brisbane, $125 back to Brisbane
$115 one-way from Perth, $115 back to Perth.
There is also $39* one-way from Melbourne (Avalon), but a $39 flight back to Avalon isn't available until the Wednesday.

Its 5 hr drive to Melbourne or Sydney then a flight,

Or 10 Hr drive to Adelaide.

Any recommendations on accommodation near the Mini venue

Have noticed lately how everyone is talking about minis like crazy other than us in adelaide as per normal ! Should we co hearse a little more about our plans ! Or do the normal wait till very last minute and have the best mini in AUSTRALIA as per usual . , ?

remember some of us travel 500+ kms just for the mini.. its not just the interstaters..
