I just bought myself a new transmitter for this year (the one I bought last year died 3 days into the show)
I got the instructions to build a di pole antenna for it as I don't like the telescopic one that is supplied, but have hit a snag.
The socket on the back is half way between a BNC and a N type connector. And what's worse is it is a left hand thread.
Has anyone seen this type of connector before and if so, can you recommend where I may be able to get one?

Mouser part 523-122108RT is the TNC plug with reverse thread - crimp type to suit RG58 50 ohm coax

Looks good, except the $35 delivery charge ;-(
I may open it up and see if I can replace the skt at that price.
